Frequently Asked Questions
We edit the photographs to select the best shots and to ensure that they are cropped to an appropriate size and correctly exposed. We do not carry out any facial editing or so-called “beautification” as part of the standard editing process. This is because (1) you are a human being and beautiful enough already and (2) how you may wish to appear in any editing is very much a matter of personal choice and therefore not something we can know.
Our photographs are fully editable by you should you wish to apply any facial editing. Alternatively, if you wish us to carry out facial editing or “beautification” after we have delivered the photographs, we can do so at an additional cost. Please contact us in this regard should you wish us to do this.
Once the photographs have been edited, we will email you a link to them. Clicking on the link will open the photographs and you will then be able to download them to your device and save them. Anybody to whom you send the link will also be able to download and save the photographs.
We cannot guarantee that the link will remain live for more than 30 days after we have sent it to you so it is important that you save and download any photographs before the end of that 30-day period.
If you are worried about whether the link will work, please contact us before you book and we will send you a test link so that you can be sure that you can download and save photographs sent by us. If nothing else, you will get some free photographs of London!
We will send you the email link to your photographs within 7 days of your photoshoot.
Good question especially as this is the UK! The photoshoot will go ahead as booked even if it is raining. We will supply umbrellas. If you look in the Gallery section of the website, you will see some photographs with umbrellas. These do bring a nice splash of colour to your photographs so can actually enhance them.
Alternatively, we can provide an alternative photoshoot tour in largely dry locations at the booked time. This alternative “dry” tour would take place in the Piccadilly/ Mayfair area of London and will also include photographs on the London Underground. It would be necessary to travel by underground train from the arranged meeting point to the “dry” tour start point. Your travel by underground train would be at your cost. See question 14 below.
The photoshoots all take place outside the locations described so no entrance takes place to any sites. You will see that on some tours we take photographs inside disused churchyards. Here the entrance is free so no entrance fees are payable.
If you would like a photoshoot inside a particular location, please contact us to arrange a bespoke photoshoot. See the Choice is Yours tour option.
Where we expressly state that a tour will involve travel on the London underground, you will be responsible at your own cost for the fares for you and your group.

We find that most visitors to London will have purchased a pass to use on the London Underground and, if you have done this, you will be able to use the pass on this tour. Also, any refreshments that you and your group require during the photoshoot will be at your own cost.
Again, as this is your photoshoot it is entirely up to you. All photoshoot tours will involve some walking. This ranges from between approximately 2.5 km (1.5 miles) and 4.5 km (2.75 miles).
We therefore recommend comfortable shoes or a change of shoes for walking if the shoes you wish to wear for the photoshoot are uncomfortable. There are no facilities on the photoshoot for a change in clothing.
On the whole we think mornings are better because they tend to be less busy which makes it easier to take the photographs that you want. To avoid the crowds, you may prefer to start your photoshoot earlier in the morning than the shown time. If so, once booked, please contact us and, if possible, we can arrange to bring forward the start time. However, we cannot guarantee that we will always be able to accommodate an earlier start time.
Where we think that a photoshoot is better on a weekday or a weekend, we will specify this in the tour description.
If you wish to have a photoshoot at a time we do not expressly offer (for example an evening or night photoshoot), please contact us and we will do our best to arrange this.
If there is a particular location within a tour you wish to spend more time at or to miss -out altogether then we are happy to oblige.
Indeed, if there is a particular location you wish to visit which accessible and which is not part of the photoshoot itinerary then, where reasonably possible, we will seek to fit that in during the tour. Obviously, this may mean having to cut other locations from the photoshoot tour.
Do bear in mind that the tour will not last more than 2.5 hours in total. If the particular location involves travel by public transport, you will be responsible for the cost of that travel.
We will email the link only to the person who has made the booking with Photoshoot Me London. That person can then share the link with other members of the group. Anybody who has the link will be able to access the photographs. See question 6 for more details about how the link works.
